The Association for Social Development Suhruth Sadan (ASDSS), in collaboration with Rajagiri Hospital, organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Department of Social Work, Sacred Heart (SH) College, Thevara. The programme aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and create awareness about the importance of donating blood to save lives. Students and faculty members actively participated in the initiative, demonstrating their commitment to supporting healthcare needs through voluntary blood donation. The medical team from Rajagiri Hospital conducted the blood donation process by following all necessary health and safety protocols. Prior to donation, participants underwent basic health screening to ensure their eligibility. The team also provided awareness on the benefits of blood donation and highlighted the continuous need for safe blood to support emergency and medical care. The programme concluded successfully, reinforcing the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraging participants to continue supporting this life-saving initiative.
