MANGO SHOWERS 2K25

The summer camp organised by the Association for Social Development Suhruth Sadan (ASDSS) was inaugurated by Sri. Joy Kanniyodickal, the ward member, on May 7, 2025, at 9:30 AM, following the registration of 110 children aged 5 to 16. The inaugural ceremony included a welcome speech by Sr. Ancy Maniyamkot SD, Secretary of ASDSS, followed by a presidential address from Sr. Anisha SD, President of ASDSS. Sri. Shyjan (Sub-Inspector) and Sri. Thalhat (Additional Sub-Inspector) from Edathala Police Station also delivered inaugural addresses and shared their experiences. After the inauguration, the children were divided into four groups, with group activities conducted by Br. Robin and Br. Ajay. Various activities and games occurred throughout the day, concluding with an evaluation session outdoor treasure hunt that allowed the children to explore and appreciate nature. A motivational talk led by Sri. Jees P. Paul, Manager of the Environmental Division of Sahrudaya. He presented environmental concepts and encouraged the children for environment protection through cartoons. And the presence and speech delivered by Mother Raisy created a enthusiastic environment.
In the afternoon, the children had an observation visit to the Fire Station in Aluva, where officers. briefed the children on fire forces’ functions, procedures etc.
On the last day, May 10, 2025, a tour was held to several notable locations, including the Injathotti Hanging Bridge,the Boothathaan Kettu Dam and park, and the Kodanad Elephant Training Centre (Abhayaranyam Kaprikkad).

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

A successful blood donation camp was held at Bharat Mata College of legal studies, organized by the Association for social Development Subruth satan (ASDSS) in collaboration with Rajagiri hospital, This initiative was led by the social work Interns of ASDSS and the Blood donor’s club of BSOL. The event saw a significant participation from students, faculty with the aim of promoting the importance of voluntary blood donation. 28 participants donated their blood on the event.
