Reading is not Just a past time. It is a transformative experience that Enriches our minds and souls in countless ways. Public library is one of the dream projects in order to develop reading habits among community people, the Inaugural ceremony of the Suhruth Public Library held on 25th August 2023 the inaugural Ceremony begins with Prayer Song and welcome speech delivered by Rev Sr Josna (Provincial Councillor and ASDSS president) Presidential speech by Rev sr Hidha SD (educational Counsellor). The inauguration was done by Mr Joseph Annamkutty Jose who is famous author, speaker, actor and radio personality. He talks about the importance of reading habit among people, develop reading skills, and the chief guest shows greetings to the mothers who attend the Programme. His words makes everyone to open eyes towards new thoughts about reading and how to take care parents at their age periods and advises the youth to celebrate your parents on each day of their life. A facilitation speech was delivered by Adv. Moly Boban followed by Mr. Joy Kaniyodickal and also provided awards to those who have made outstanding contributions towards filling the library’s institutional purpose. And the program ends with the inauguration of the library and Rev. Sr. Divya Mundakkal SD delivered vote of thanks to the entire advance for participating in the program as ending of the official ingratiation ceremony conducted onam celebration for the elders. Thiruvathira, Onapattu, games also included in the celebration.
