Association for social developments in organised a laughing therapy class on world happiness day observation for the elderly people at pakal veed. The class was led by Dr Jisha Mary homeopathy doctor and psychologist. She engaged the audience with a mixture of songs, meditation, awareness class and sharing experience. The laughter exercise was very effective for elderly people. The activities often involves interaction games, body movements, and feel as a group. The goal was to release tension, stress, boost mood, improve circulation and enhance overall wellbeing through the power of laughter. Community Social worker Maria Babu project coordinator Aleena Thomas and social work interns from mar Elias college Anna I’ll be and Julie also share their insights with the members of pakalveed. A total of 55 elderly people participated in the class.
